Each step in IO My Skin's skin care program plays a vital part in preparing the skin for the next step. Dependent upon your skins needs you may find that you will only use 3 or 5 of the different steps or that you may change your products according to weather and seasons as well. The 7 Steps is a guide to educate you on which products follow each other.
Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) are "naturally occurring" acids. AHAs work to break down dead skin cells and speed up exfoliation. As a result, new, healthy skin cells are produced faster enabling you to have a radiant, youthful appearance.
Squalene oil is derived from Spanish Olives. It is a natural component of the skin and it is considered to be a wonderful emollient (skin softener) that has antioxidant and immune-stimulating properties. This moisturizing oil may also help to reduce skin irritation and allergic responses.
